I am a passionate, creative programmer & educator with four years of in-classroom and out-of-classroom teaching experience, specializing in robotics and music.
Code Ninjas is a company dedicated to teaching kids how to problem solve and program through building games that they love. In the near future, coding will be a vital second language. My job as a Code Sensei is to teach kids how to program. It starts off with Scratch, and moves on to languages such as HTML/CSS and Javascript, and the kids even learn Unity.
I personally took charge of mentoring 75 members of my school's robotics program. I spent 9 months guiding each student through the process of designing, building, and programming competition-level robots.
I have assisted multiple music directors in the teaching of musicals to kids ranging from 7 year olds to college students. This is normally done through either teaching them the correct notes or playing the piano accompaniment along with them.
Through my school's robotics program, I have competed in 10 VEX competitions, particularly Starstruck and In The Zone. I competed under two teams, 750E (2017 - Present) and 750R (2016 - 2017). For the 2018-2019 game Turning Point, I will be competing in several more competitions between November and February as the second year of being the Team Captain for 750E.
Hackathons, or programming competitions, are a fantastic place for me to take my skills and apply them to the real world. These skills not only include programming, but also social skills. These events give me the opportunity to network with other programmers and develop strong relationships.

Apart from being a programmer, I enjoy spending time hanging out with my friends. We usually enjoy walking around Princeton, or going out for a jog. When indoors, I spent my free time watching comedy films, binge watching Netflix, and playing chess. Lately, most of my free time is being taken over by school work, but in the summer I enjoy going outside and rollerblading.
